We’re hiring a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a well-established and nurturing nursery setting committed to delivering high-quality childcare and early years education.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate childcare professional to support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading a dedicated team, and fostering a safe, stimulating environment where children thrive.

With strong values in child development, creativity, and continuous learning, the nursery supports children aged 0–5 with a rich, play-based curriculum tailored to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years (e.g., NVQ, CACHE)
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or Deputy Nursery Manager
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS Framework, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding legislation
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on, child-focused approach
- Passionate about creating enriching, child-centred experiences

Deputy Nursery Manager – Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring full compliance with EYFS and safeguarding standards
- Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners, providing mentoring, supervision, and performance support
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and families to ensure every child receives personalised, high-quality care
- Oversee planning and delivery of age-appropriate learning activities and track children's developmental milestones
- Help manage staffing rotas, health & safety checks, and other nursery administration tasks
- Maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
