Are you a skilled Furniture Upholsterer with a passion for high-quality craftsmanship? Key Responsibilities:
Make and use cutting patterns/templates for different upholstery materials
Operate sewing machines to assemble fabric components
Use hand tools such as pneumatic staplers, cutting knives, scissors, and screw guns
Interpret and work from work orders and approved drawings
Work independently and support the wider team as needed
Maintain accurate paperwork and production records
Follow all health and safety guidelines
Upholster wooden furniture to a high standard using a range of materials, including leather
Accurately fit layouts according to design specifications
Handle rolls of vinyl and leather with care and efficiency
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experienced in upholstery, with knowledge of materials and tools
Comfortable using both manual and machine equipment
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and organisational skills
Able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
Flexible team player with a proactive approach
Committed to quality and continuous improvement
