Summary
FINANCE MANAGER / BOOKKEEPER
CREWE
£30K DOE

This is a brand new role, so will ideally suit an ambitious person who’s confident and experienced, and excited to help shape it from the ground up and a fast moving eCommerce business.
This role will suit applicants who are looking to move away from accountancy practice and into industry as a hands-on Finance Manager/Bookkeeper. You will be joining an eCommerce business and taking ownership of the day-to-day financial operations. This is a key role reporting directly to the CEO, with the autonomy to manage financial matters independently but recognising when escalation to the CEO is needed for strategic input and decision making.
The Role:
Oversee all day-to-day bookkeeping duties
Manage VAT and support with Management Accounts
Liaise with external accountancy practice (core accounts support provided)
Process payments and maintain financial systems
About You:
Experience working in or with an accountancy practice highly desirable
Strong working knowledge of Xero is essential
Experience with processing payments through Barclays.net is highly advantageous
Confident communicator, able to liaise with internal teams and external partners
Committed, reliable, and able to work independently
Must be comfortable working onsite full-time, due to the fast-moving nature of the business
This role would suit someone from an accountancy background looking for greater responsibility and independence in a commercial setting.
Monday to Friday 39.5 hours
Annual leave that increases with service + a day off for your Birthday.
