Crynodeb
The Immunology and Protein Reference Unit is situated on the Northern General Hospital campus in new purpose built laboratories. The department has an extensive repertoire of immunology and specialist protein tests (see www.immqas.org.uk/PRU tab) with samples referred from all over the UK and further afield. There is also a proactive programme of new assay development. Registered Biomedical Scientists will be encouraged to undertake the IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Immunology. Please also note this vacancy is banded dependent upon applicants experience relevant to this post. The banding of the successful applicant/s will start at Band 5 unless applicants meet the necessary threshold of skills and experience required to start on Band 6.
