The Lead Data Governance Manager position represents a critical leadership role within Defence Digital's data management strategy. This role requires an experienced professional who will drive the development and implementation of comprehensive data governance frameworks across the organisation. In this role you will establish robust policies and standards that ensure data quality, security, and compliance whilst supporting Defence Digital operational objectives. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels to embed data governance principles throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities
Lead the formation, implementation and management of data governance frameworks, policies and standards
Implement and establish wider data management competencies within the organisation
Manage organisational data risks and issues, coordinating with data owners for resolution
Develop and maintain data quality assurance processes and standards
