We are recruiting for an Information Assurance Officer to join our Defence Digital Strategic Networks, Computers and Communications(NCC) team. You will be responsible for:
Applying operational knowledge and decision-making skills to support the effective management of knowledge and information.
Understanding and applying information security principles to ensure KIM (Knowledge and Information Management) systems protect organisational data.
Staying up to date with legislative changes affecting information governance and adjust practices accordingly.
Supporting the wider team in assessing and advising on information risk.
Maintaining up-to-date and fit-for-purpose information management processes in line with KIM guidelines.
Providing advice and promote best practices related to information and knowledge management.
Supporting information audits to safeguard assets and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
