Role Overview:
This new role supports the Service Lead with administrative, operational, and HR tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day running of services. You will play a key part in recruitment, rota coordination, staff support, and compliance across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Support safer recruitment processes, interviews, onboarding, and staff development.
Liaise with HR providers, ensure compliance, manage staff records and DBS checks.
Maintain training logs, monitor completion, and troubleshoot access issues.
Handle petty cash auditing, invoicing, and financial reporting.
Manage calendars, emails, reports, documentation, events, and social care admin.
Assist with safeguarding meeting notes and act as first point of contact for internal queries.
Support procurement, subscriptions, inventory, and staff welfare programmes.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in administrative or HR support roles, preferably in care or education settings.
Excellent communication, IT (Word, Excel, Outlook), and organisational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and maintain confidentiality.
Flexible, proactive, and responsive to a fast-changing environment.
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK (essential – no sponsorship offered)
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Full UK driving licence
GCSEs in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
NVQ/Diploma Level 5 in Business Admin, HR, or equivalent (or relevant experience)
