Location: Northampton
Salary: £24,500
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm with 1 hour break.

We have a new vacancy available for a HR Administrator in Northampton. My client is one of the UK's leading main dealer groups in the area representing some fantastic brands. HR Administrator Role
- Handle new-starter onboarding, role changes (e.g. promotions, contract updates), and leavers (including exit interviews), ensuring all paperwork is accurate and payroll is notified promptly.
- Ensure both electronic and paper employee records are updated—covering absences, holidays, sickness, and training—and maintain accuracy in HR systems.
- Assist with job postings, CV screening, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and maintenance of the applicant tracking system.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, take minutes during employee relations (ER) meetings, support grievance/disciplinary processes, and ensure HR practices comply with UK employment law and GDPR.
HR Administrator key requirements
- You must have at least one year of experience within HR
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, essential for liaising with employees, management, and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and compliance with employment regulations, along with the ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills.
