The school offers a structured environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, emotional regulation, and learning, and they are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils who face challenges with their social, emotional, and mental health, helping them to engage positively with their education. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide consistent support and encouragement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Use positive behaviour strategies to help pupils manage their emotions

- A patient, calm, and empathetic approach, with a passion for helping young people
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- A proactive, flexible attitude to adapt to individual pupils' needs
- An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Those with experience in relevant sectors are also encouraged to apply e.g. sports coach, youth work, mentoring

What You'll Gain:
- A long-term position for the full academic year, with a permanent opportunity
- Access to free, high-quality CPD, including SEMH and behaviour management training
- Experience working in a supportive, inclusive school rated 'Good' by Ofsted
