Our client is currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) to lead the Pre-School Room in a beautifully designed, spacious nursery setting. With age-specific rooms and plenty of indoor and outdoor space, this nursery offers the ideal environment for children to grow, explore, and prepare for the next stage of their learning journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner who is confident supporting older children and passionate about helping them get ready for school. The service is warm, inclusive, and proud to support a team where everyone’s ideas and contributions are valued.
The successful candidate will take the lead in the Pre-School Room, supporting as they build independence, social skills, and school readiness. This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to guide practice, mentor colleagues, and make a real impact on children’s early education.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years – essential
- Experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner in a nursery or pre-school room
- Sound knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding procedures
- Confident leadership skills with a nurturing, child-led approach
- A proactive team player with excellent communication and organisation

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pre-school room, delivering a warm, structured, and engaging environment
- Create and implement fun, educational activities based on the EYFS framework
- Supervise and mentor your room team, supporting their growth and development
- Maintain high standards in record-keeping, planning, and observations
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted regulations
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider nursery team
- Promote school readiness with confidence-building, independence, and early literacy & numeracy
