Summary

deVOL Kitchens is one of the leading and most highly regarded kitchen companies in the UK, with manufacturing and design offices based in Leicestershire, London, New York and Bath. We are looking for a highly motivated and capable person to join our rapidly growing workshop team in Shepshed.

Your role will be to assist with the manufacturing and assembling of our timeless Classic English kitchen range. Our Classic English range is a truly bespoke kitchen made to any size and with any finish. Our Classic cupboards continue a tradition of English carpentry that is made to the highest quality and without compromise.

Your duties will involve machining, building, and prepping drawer boxes, machining wooden components, assembling cabinetry, and generally assisting other members of the Classic English team.

This role will include a lot of manual handling as you will be required to lift heavy materials as well as standing for long periods of time.

We would love you to:

- Work in a time-effective manner.
- Follow instructions and tasks set out by the department manager.
- Be good under pressure.
- Have some previous workshop experience (desirable but not essential).
- Be able to use your own initiative to deal with problems as they arise.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Have an eye for detail.
- Work well as part of a larger team.

After this we offer annual pay reviews and continued support from the team.
