Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking to make a profound difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Science Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, working 40 hours per week. This role offers the chance to work within a specialist educational setting that champions an integrated and nurturing approach to learning. You will be instrumental in helping students re-engage with their education and thrive academically and personally.

The school supports young people aged 6 to 19 who have Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), communication needs, and sensory needs. With a focus on small class sizes and integrated therapeutic support, the school provides a unique framework that helps students overcome barriers to learning. This is an environment where specialist teaching truly makes a difference, enabling students to enjoy school life and achieve their full potential.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from M1 - UPS2, £31,650 to £47,338 per annum, dependent on your experience and qualifications.

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this vital role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Evidence of in-service training relevant to special educational needs
