They are currently looking for a passionate and committed Year 2 teacher to join their friendly team on a permanent, full-time basis starting this September.



Your new role

  • Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, sparking enthusiasm
  • Create a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that nurtures confidence, curiosity, and growth
  • Monitor and evaluate pupils' progress through formative and summative assessments, tailoring support to meet individual needs
  • Encourage both independent thinking and cooperative learning, helping children build strong foundations for their next stage
  • Work closely with fellow staff members, parents, and carers to ensure each child's development is fully supported


What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally within Year 2
  • An imaginative and flexible approach to teaching that engages young minds and adapts to different learning styles
  • Strong classroom management skills and a positive, enthusiastic presence
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to building strong links with families and the wider school community
  • A genuine passion for early education and a drive to create meaningful, memorable learning experiences
