We are a popular Indian take-away looking for a skilled Tandoori Chef to join our team. As a Tandoori Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of traditional tandoori dishes, including naan bread, chicken tikka, tandoori lamb chops, and other Indian delicacies.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking a range of tandoori dishes to perfection, following the traditional recipes and methods.
Managing the tandoor oven, including lighting it, maintaining the right temperature, and ensuring that the food is cooked evenly and thoroughly.
Preparing and marinating the meat and vegetables, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and freshness.
Managing food inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and following all food safety protocols.
Training and supervising other kitchen staff as needed.
Ideal candidate should have

Good experience working as a Tandoori Chef in an Indian restaurant.
In-depth knowledge of traditional tandoori cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients.
Ability to manage the tandoor oven and prepare a variety of tandoori dishes to perfection.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

37.5 HOURS PER WEEK WITH A YEARLY SALARY OF £39,000. Preparing and cooking a range of tandoori dishes to perfection following traditional methods. Managing the tandoori oven, including lighting it, maintaining the right temperature, and ensuring the food is cooked evenly and thoroughly. Preparing and marinating the meat and vegetables and ensuring they are of the highest quality and freshness. Managing food inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and following all food safety protocols. Liaising with the chef and head waiter and supervising other kitchen staff as needed
