This is an exciting opportunity for an advisor to join our ICT Service-desk Team in Support Services. If you work well under pressure and are able to keep to tight deadline then this could be the job for you.


Areas of work will include:


ICT Service-desk support
Building laptops and setting up computer equipment
Personal computer/device support for the council business and members
Provide other lines of Service-desk support in Support Services
Provide excellent customer service dealing with a wide range of customers
The role will be mainly ICT Service-Desk related, however there will be opportunities to gain wider experience within the larger Support Services team. You will also support and encourage customer empowerment and self-serve.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.  You will also need to demonstrate good time management/organisational skills. Preferably have a good knowledge/understanding/experience of Microsoft Windows and IOS operating systems with knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications. Further training, if required will be provided to improve your skills.
