Summary

We are a family run business who pride ourselves in promoting exceptional customer care, including giving accurate advice and guidance on products and the health and wellbeing of all pets. Promote additional products that will benefit the customer and their pet. Learning our electronic point of sale (EPOS) systems to complete sales, ordering and refunds efficiently. Managing customer queries and problems or complaints in a timely and profesional manner. Maintaining, delivering and promoting high standards of animal welfare - whilst this is a customer service role there is the opportunity to work with our animals Maintaining high standards of store cleanliness.


Training
All training will be provided by Haddon Training on site

Qualifications required
GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths and English, or a willingness to complete the equivalent functional skills.

Skills required
No specific skills required - some retail experience may be beneficial but full training will be provided.

Prospects
Apprentices are quite often offered permanent positions following successful completion of their apprenticeship and positive reviews.
In the last 12 months we have offered permanent positions to 3 apprentices, one of whom is now a Supervisor. 1 is still carrying out her apprenticeship and 1 chose to move into a different field after completion.
For on-going development we offer fully funded external courses for employees in birds, fish, reptiles and more.
