The Opportunity
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team and ensure that our products consistently meet the highest standards for safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will play a vital part in our quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and supporting key quality initiatives that promote operational excellence.
Your Duties and Responsibilities will be
- Review and interpret Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and QA/NDT documentation
- Conduct visual inspections, weld fit-up checks, and cleanliness audits
- Verify proper application of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and welder qualifications
- Maintain traceability of materials and ensure inspection tools are properly calibrated
- Collaborate with Managers and Project Leads to meet QA requirements for specific projects
- Manage quality documentation in accordance with the Combined Management System (CMS)
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Experience in Project Quality, Quality Control, and Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or those in the Nuclear and Automotive sectors
- Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as PPAP, MSA, GR&R, and process mapping
- Strong skills in supplier management, contract review, and interpretation of specifications
- Proficient in problem-solving and root cause analysis
