About the Role
Our client is currently seeking 3–4 experienced Commercial Gas Engineers to support a growing pipeline of commercial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected firm delivering high-quality mechanical services across the South of England.
The role will primarily involve local work within a daily commutable distance of Portsmouth, though some flexibility to travel and lodge away on occasion is essential due to project requirements.
This is a full-time role with no call-out rota, offering consistent work, good structure, and excellent overtime rates.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform installation, service, and maintenance on commercial gas systems
• Work independently on assigned tasks without the need for supervision
• Adhere to site safety procedures and work in line with MOD site standards
• Support the team in delivering high-quality, efficient project outcomes
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in commercial gas engineering
• Able to manage tasks without training or oversight
• Willingness to travel occasionally and stay overnight when required
• Must have no criminal record (due to MOD site work and SC clearance process)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible, professional, and self-motivated approach

Essential Qualifications
• Valid Commercial Gas Tickets (please specify your certifications when applying)
• Full UK Driving Licence
