With our workforce strategy in place, we are looking for a talented and experienced EDI professional who enjoys and is experienced in achieving change and innovation through Inclusion.

About you…
• Experience in a specialist role with significant EDI content.
• The ability to shape people policy frameworks that positively impact the employee and service user experience.
• Experience of working with managers and teams on EDI issues and developing solutions.
• Experience in designing and delivering EDI training and briefings
• Experience of working in a customer focused service with a track record of consistent delivery and achievement of service plans
• Able to work on your own initiative.
About the role…
• Reporting to the Head of HR and OD, you will lead the development and implementation of the Council’s EDI strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our Workforce Strategy and the Public Sector Equality Duty.
• Work closely with our services and the HR&OD team, you will support the delivery of a high-quality EDI service, that drives organisational improvement.
The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor interviews will be held on Friday 1st August 2025. Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.
