A Vacancy at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.


Finchley Memorial Community Diagnostic Centre offers convenient access to
important diagnostic tests including Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Phlebotomy,
Respiratory and Imaging Tests – including CT, MRI, Ultrasound and X-Ray in a
non-acute outpatient setting.
In this position you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a quality
clinical support service for our patients and referring Medical Staff. This will involve
providing clinical support to practitioners and doctors throughout the departments
and assisting with manual handling tasks in a manner which is safe for both
patients and staff.
You will be required to rotate through all of the clinical areas mentioned above and
assist the staff in providing the highest quality of care to a diverse range of patients.

The CDA role will primarily be based at the Finchley Memorial site however there maybe rotation to our other sites. Your role will require you to rotate through different clinical areas (including but not limited to Cardiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, X-ray, including Mobile Scanning units) assisting Doctors and clinical staff. This will involve IV Cannulation in these areas when required (training will be given). Successful candidates can look forward to working within a friendly, dynamic, highly specialised, multi-professional team.

This post is Full time - 37.5 hours per week, plus will include participation in weekend rotation.

Please note all new appointments at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust are subject to a 6 month probation period.
