The Wembley and Willesden Community Diagnostic Centre is the first of its kind in North West London. Situated in the newly refurbished site, our diagnostic service operates full-time across 7 days each week. We aim to deliver care to our patients in the community through a diagnostic centre which has Imaging, Cardiology, Respiratory function, phlebotomy, CT, and MRI services to our outpatients,
We are pionerring a different way of delivering care for patients and offereing MRI appointments up until midnight 5 days a week. Therefore flexibility and reliability are the keys for this position and we offer shifts that cover: 8am - 8pm, 9am - 5pm, 4pm - 12 midnight.
We're seeking an exceptional nurse who can support the operations of our multidisciplinary services as a clinic nurse. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary ensemble of sonographers, physiologists, radiographers and pheblotomist whom will look to you for support as you will be responsible for supporting the safe transfer of any acutely unwell patients to hospital sites.

The role will provide nursing support for the community diagnostic centres.
• Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to provide safe diagnostic service to patients undergoing diagnostic procedures at the community diagnostic centres.
• Provide nursing advice to support and facilitate high quality, individualised care to patients/clients and relatives/carers with supervision and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team in line with local and national targets.
• To assess care implement and evaluate patients without supervision where necessary.
• To assist in leading and monitoring the performance of the junior members of the clinic team.
• To respond to patients, relatives and carers concerns as they arise and take remedial action as required.
• To provide day-to-day nursing support of the service and manage the acutely unwell patient in the community setting.
• The post holder will be expected to travel, when necessary, to cover other community sites .
