we’re looking for a quality manager with solid food technical experience to join our central production unit (cpu) in east acton, london. if you’re passionate about food safety, love a good process, and want to be part of something meaningful - this could be your next big move
your purposeyou’ll be the guardian of quality at our cpu - making sure every ingredient, every process, and every product meets wagamama’s high standards. from food safety to supplier checks, you’ll help us deliver nourishment that’s not just delicious, but safe, consistent + full of soul
what you’ll be doing- lead our quality management system + make sure we’re always audit-ready
- define product + process specs, and challenge the status quo when needed
- support new product development (npd) with your food tech know-how
- maintain third-party accreditations (hello, brc grade a!)
- manage non-conformances + drive continuous improvement
- monitor customer feedback + complaints - and turn insights into action
- be our go-to expert on food safety, legislation + quality assurance
- audit, inspect + keep our systems sharp
- ensure all suppliers are up to scratch + fully certified
- spot risks in the supply chain before they become problems
- champion best practice + help us grow stronger every day
- proven experience in a food technical or quality assurance role (this is a must!)
- food-related degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- internal auditor + haccp qualified
- strong knowledge of food legislation + industry standards
- confident communicator + team player
- experience managing people + processes
- full uk driving licence
- you must be comfortable commuting to our cpu in east acton, london
