The Finance & Operations Assistant Role:
This is a key support role within our finance and operations function. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our financial admin processes and provide essential support to operational areas like timesheet management, contractor renewals, and onboarding.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Process purchase invoices and match with POs
• Chase and manage employee and contractor timesheets
• Maintain and update staff leave and absences in our project system
• Assist with contractor documentation and renewal tracking
• Help coordinate background checks for new hires and contractors
• Support the monthly sales invoicing process
• Post transactions and assist with payment runs
• Prepare documentation for year-end audits
What You’ll Bring:
• Accounting qualification or experience in a finance support role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage confidential data with discretion
• Excellent written and verbal communication
Bonus points for:
• Experience using Project Management Systems
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct
