Crynodeb
The post holder will be a member of the Facilities Portering Team and support wider services within Facilities such as Patient Environment. They will be responsible for carrying out any duties commensurate with the grade of post. The role includes the effective management of the Portering services across St James Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary. This entails the management of Supervisors and staff and ensuring that all Trust polices and procedures are adhered to. The successful candidate will be asked to implement innovative ways to improve the service and support the Trust's 7 commitments with the reduction of patient wait times. The role requires flexibility in approach to the duties required and the hours worked. The post holder will be expected to have a successful track record in managing a large team in a healthcare environment and have a sound knowledge of Microsoft systems.
