We are seeking to appoint 5 suitable skilled and motivated people to work with children and young people in Wakefield MDC at York Villas Children’s Home in Normanton.
Effective supervision, induction and good training is provided to all staff. The work involves shift patterns, including weekends, waking nights, sleep-ins, on- call and Bank Holidays.
You should be committed to improving the life chances of the children and young people we look after.
York Villas provides full time care for young people up to the age of eighteen who have a learning disability.
You will hold a Diploma 3 in Children and Young People or willing to work to achieve this qualification when appointed.
An enhanced DBS check will be required along with two references.
