Assistant Passive Fire Project Manager - £43,000 – South London


RGB are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Passive Fire Project Manager to support the delivery of passive fire protection projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating site activities, managing compliance documentation, liaising with clients and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role is ideal for someone with knowledge of fire safety or construction who is looking to grow within a project management environment.



Salary Package:

- £40,000 - £43,000
- Company van
- 20 days holiday

Duties:

- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and delivering passive fire protection projects.
- Support site inspections, surveys, and audits to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and specifications.
- Track project progress, maintain schedules, and update relevant documentation.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and expectations.
- Help manage health and safety compliance, risk assessments, and quality assurance on-site.
- Ensure installation works comply with fire safety standards (e.g., BS 476, EN 1366, etc.).
- Collect and compile evidence for project handover packs, including drawings, certifications, and photographic records.
- Attend and contribute to project meetings and site briefings.
- Provide administrative support including reporting, material ordering, and timesheet management.



Requirements:

- Full UK driving license
- Site management experience
- Qualifications in construction, engineering, or fire safety
- Experience with fire protection software or compliance platforms
- CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification.
