Cleaner / Valeter / Yards Person
Working approximately 15-20 hours per week, daytime.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Cleaning vehicles across the rental vehicle and taxi/minibus fleet.
• Assisting with the internal and external cleaning of vehicles and depot premises with the use of specialist equipment and chemicals
• Assist with fuelling, oiling, watering, shunting and parking of vehicles
• You must be prepared to manoeuvre vehicles in an enclosed yard for which full training will be provided.
• Able to work effectively when unsupervised after initial training
• To adhere to the Health and Safety at work policy, ensuring protective clothing is used properly at all times and appropriate practices and procedures are always followed
• To clean and valet vehicles inside and out to an exceptionally high standard
• To inspect all vehicles to ensure that any defects or damage is recorded
• Where appropriate to identify any faults on the vehicles and report as necessary
• To take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and to take reasonable care not to put other people – fellow employees, members of the public – at risk by what you do or don’t do in the course of your work
Qualifications
• Full UK driving licence is essential, with 12 months experience
