Do you have an interest in supporting a successful non-profit retail operation through your skills in eCommerce, process development, and working with people?
If this sounds like you, come and join the trading team at St Christopher’s where you will be leading the rollout of eCommerce strategy. You’ll be empowering store staff over 24 sites to list carefully selected items and grow online sales.
Job Title: Trading eCommerce Manager
Salary: £37,868 per annum
Employment Terms: Permanent, 36 hours per week
Working Pattern: Mon – Fri
Travel: Mobile position across 24 sites in SE London
Base Locations: St Pauls Cray and Streatham offices
Annual Leave: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
You will be taking on responsibility for developing out the eCommerce function for a well-established retail operation. You will reinvent or revitalise existing processes to create an environment where each of the 24 stores is willing and able to list their products for sale online.
The work will involve an excellent understanding of ‘behind the scenes’ operations of eCommerce as well as strong knowledge around product selection and process efficiency. The role will then include personally handling key listings while also upskilling and empowering staff to do the same.
You’ll be confident and influential and able to communicate well with a broad range of staff. You will be able to explain your own deep knowledge in an accessible way that allows others to put into practice your expert understanding of eCommerce.
You’ll have good knowledge of the back office data, reporting, and admin surrounding an eCommerce operation and be able to work to KPI’s and sales targets.
The role will include travel across the South East of London as you visit the multiple different stores.
Who are we Looking For?
You’ll have excellent demonstrable experience in eCommerce operations with a proven track record for producing sales
eCommerce experience in the non-profit sector is desirable
You’ll have experience growing an operation from the front
You’ll have fantastic knowledge surrounding product selection, knowing exactly what will achieve the greatest price uplift being sold online
You’ll have a background in training and developing others with your knowledge
You’ll have high level administrative and organisational skills with the ability to write excellent professional communication
You’ll be confident, assertive, and influential
You’ll be target driven and pro-active with the ability to self-manage based on targets and KPI’s
You’ll be able to travel across South East London
