Summary
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for Sound No.2 to work on the upcoming West End musical "PADDINGTON" at the Savoy Theatre.
We are seeking applications from individuals from all backgrounds, with complementary experience and skills, for the position of Sound No. 2.
Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional experience in sound, the ability to work under pressure and effectively within a team, good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management qualities to ensure that the production runs efficiently and smoothly and the sound design is maintained. Candidates must also possess a highly skilled level of preparation, rigging, maintenance and operation of the sound design and sound equipment.
Responsibilities include the preparation, operation and maintenance of equipment to implement the sound design for the production. This may also include attending rehearsals, liaising with the performing company and other departments to create an efficient and successful department. Equipment will include but not be limited to radio transmitters and their associated microphones, communications equipment, mixing consoles, playback equipment and speaker systems.
