Overview
Reaseheath College is a forward thinking and dynamic college providing an excellent educational and training experience to over 4,500 students a year. Our Marketing Department organises and hosts a diverse range of conferences and events in our beautiful campus setting throughout the year. We work closely with our Business Development Team to develop strong employer partnerships. As these partnerships continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for a Conference and Business Hub Coordinator to join the Marketing Team!
About the role
This would be a perfect role for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving new business growth. We welcome all applications; however, the role would suit those from either an event, business development, customer relations, hospitality, conferencing or marketing background.
Key responsibilities:
Develop, promote and oversee a wide range of events, including business meetings, large conferences, networking and community events.
Act as the main contact for all external customer conferencing bookings as well as organising and delivering all conferencing activity such as external room hire.
Work in conjunction with the Business Development team to ensure conferencing activity supports the employer engagement strategy, targeting new business and enhancing strategic partnerships.
Ensure the conferencing offer is competitive, delivers value and quality, meets income targets and aligns with the Reaseheath mission and vision.
Manage the customer relationship with the summer language school provider and coordinate all aspects of their visit, delivering an excellent customer experience.
The successful candidate will have:
Recent relevant experience in a similar role within hospitality, conferencing or marketing.
A level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Strong commercial awareness and proven budget management skills.
Excellent communication and IT skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Self-motivated with demonstrable evidence of successful partnership working.
The ability to work flexibly outside of regular hours in accordance with conferencing and college events.
