"Want to join our team as a part time HGV 1 night driver?

We're looking for someone who can commute to Tamworth, who is available to work between Thursday and Monday nights each week for ongoing part-time driving work.

Shift Pattern:

Part-time, meaning 2-3 shifts per week with start times ranging between 20.00 - 23.00 pm (Between Thursday and Monday nights only).

Salary:

£19.70 - £20.85 per hour - plus holiday pay (accrued at a rate of 12.07%)

About the role:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our client's customer's need fresh stock - daily, and you could be part of their nationwide team making some of the 3.5 million deliveries each year, keeping Britain fed!

As a Kenect Recruitment HGV 1 Driver, you'll be passionate about high-quality customer service for our valued client and their customers.

Typical responsibilities shall include:

• National trunking deliveries to RDC's (no handball)
• Delivering all items accurately within an agreed timescale
• Refrigerated trailers
• Possible collection on return journey
• Between Thursday - Monday nights each week
• £19.70 - £20.85 per hour - guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours per shift

Requirements:

• Must have held a valid UK LGV1 licence for a minimum of 12 months
• Must be able to commute to Tamworth at least 2 nights per week (including weekends)
• Must have no more than 6 points on licence for minor offences
• Must be willing to undergo a paid driving assessment and induction prior to starting
