Job Title: HGV Class 1 DriverLocation: TamworthJob Type: TemporaryIndustry: DrivingPay Rate: £17-£18.50 per hourWorkchain is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a temporary position in Tamworth. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to their destinations. Due to the location of the client, you will be required to have your own transport! For this run, you will mostly be doing night trunking work to Holyhead port and back. Due to the nature of this run and the time it can take, the starts can vary a little bit between 1800 - 2100 and are longer days. If you are looking for 8 hours a day, this isn't the one for you. If you want longer hours then this will fit the brief. Key Responsibilities:- Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle in a safe and responsible manner- Ensuring the timely delivery of goods to designated locations- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time- Adhering to all relevant legislation and company policies- Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting any defectsQualifications Required:- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence- Minimum of 1 year experience driving HGV vehicles- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards- Good knowledge of road safety regulations- Excellent communication and customer service skillsIf you meet the above criteria and are interested in this opportunity, please apply through our website at workchain.co.uk.
