Are you a recent Speech & Language Therapy graduate or an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in supporting speech and language needs?
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming, inclusive two-form entry primary school in central Coventry to recruit a dedicated Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to join their supportive SEND team from September.
The Role:

Support pupils across the school with speech, language and communication development

Work closely with the SENCo to implement EHCP targets and tailored strategies
Work closely with the SENCo to implement EHCP targets and tailored strategies

Help create an engaging, nurturing environment that encourages communication and learning

Support social interaction and peer relationships for children with communication difficulties

Track and report on pupil progress and engagement
Track and report on pupil progress and engagement
Who We're Looking For:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Speech & Language related degree
- Experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties
- Familiarity with alternative communication systems
- Strong understanding of SEND and the primary curriculum
- Patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils
