If so, we want you to be part of our teams.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 permanent rotation post between the Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy Team and the Community Integrated Neuro and Stroke Service (CINSS) and are looking for an enthusiastic therapist to work within our team.

The Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy Team is a small, dedicated team providing patient-centred assessment, advice and treatment to adults with acquired swallowing and communication difficulties across Coventry. We have excellent relationships with our Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy and Dietetic colleagues in our Planned Community Services and work closely with specialist colleagues in the Parkinson’s Disease and Motor Neurone Disease MDTs. You will have the opportunity to offer regular goal focused therapy intervention for communication and dysphagia alongside colleagues from the MDT. Rehabilitation is offered in the patient’s own home or can be provided in a clinic setting.

We will support your development through Band 5 NQP and dysphagia competencies across both teams, and you will be able to access peer supervision from your colleagues already on the rotation.
