Duties
• Overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the bakery shop
• Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and excellence in service.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Ideally a food hygiene certificate is held, or the willingness to complete.
• Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability while minimising waste.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer enquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operational, reporting any issues to management.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food production industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices to ensure compliance within the establishment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with customers and staff alike.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
