This is an excellent opportunity to join Swansea University and use your experience of transnational education (TNE), partnership development and negotiating commercial arrangements to make a positive difference to our future students and increase Swansea University’s profile on the international stage. Working directly with the Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC) for International Engagement and senior colleagues across the University, you will drive forward the development of Swansea University’s global partnership and TNE portfolio.
Working collaboratively with our three Faculties and Professional Services you will lead a newly established agile team providing a high-level of service, with an evidence-based approach, to gain buy-in for the development of opportunities that will generate income and contribute to delivering on our core International strategic pillars. We are seeking an inspiring and ambitious individual with business acumen to lead on the identification, evaluation and development of TNE opportunities and negotiate commercial agreements with partners, ensuring that viable prospects are worked through to completion.
As well as identifying innovative opportunities to drive forward our ambitious international agenda, you will also lead the team that is responsible for our inbound and outbound student mobility programmes. You will seek to maximise the outcomes of our well-established study abroad and exchange partnerships, furthering the experience of our students who participate in study elsewhere as part of their learning.
Where required you will undertake some overseas travel in this role. Please see the job description for additional detail.
