Graduate Teaching Assistant – Person Specification:
• A 2:1 or higher in a core subject degree (Maths, English, Science or related fields)
• Some experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
• Positive, proactive, and eager to support teaching and learning
• Able to build strong, respectful relationships with students and staff
• A genuine interest in education and a desire to make a lasting impact

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will: Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Provide 1:1 and small group support across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5
• Support students in Maths, English and/or Science, depending on your strengths
• Assist in the classroom to help raise achievement and engagement
• Lead focused intervention sessions to support understanding and confidence
• Access regular training sessions to develop your skills and prepare for a career in education
This is a full-time, term-time position (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm), starting in September 2025. Graduate Teaching Assistant
