Job Summary:
Rugby Borough Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Officer to oversee housing management and service coordination. Based at the Town Hall, you will play a key role in ensuring effective delivery of housing services, tenancy management, and resident engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate housing management functions across the borough.
• Support and supervise housing officers in the delivery of tenancy services.
• Monitor service performance, ensuring compliance with policies, legislation, and best practice.
• Handle complex tenancy issues, including anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concerns.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to improve housing outcomes.
Requirements:
• Significant experience in housing management within a local authority or social housing setting.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant housing legislation and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
