This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in supporting agency business change from the outset to product delivery.
In this role as a Benefits Assurance Support Manager you will provide a professional benefit realisation management assurance service to the DVLA, ensuring that appropriate planning and re-forecasting arrangements are in place and regularly reviewed.
You will play a key role to promote the importance of outcomes delivered for taxpayers’ money. You will also provide assurance of programmes and projects against their maturity in Benefits and Risk.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- To raise and strengthen capability and performance of benefits realisation management within the Agency, providing a comprehensive support and advice service to business areas, customers and stakeholders.
- To provide challenge and assurance of forecast benefits/disbenefits to both business and programmes/projects.
- Provide support and lead on the assurance for all the associated benefits activities for small change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide a tier 2 assurance for investment documents for benefits and risk management throughout the Agency.
- To support and manage the EO Benefits Tracking Manager. To assist in the development and assurance of all benefit tracking activities, scorecards and reports analyse available evidence providing a RAG confidence rating and recommendations for improvement.
