Crynodeb
To autonomously assess and diagnose patients with a diverse range of medical and podiatric conditions, using appropriate diagnostic techniques, skills and tools; to adopt a problem-solving approach to patient care, ensuring that all clients treated have an agreed treatment plan To create and implement tailored treatment and care plans using a variety of appropriate treatment regimens for a range of patient groups including those in the at risk categories, focusing on the management of primary foot pathologies. This includes patients with the following conditions (this list is not exhaustive):- Chronic Disease, for example Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis Neurological and vascular disorders, Parkinsons Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease HIV Polypharmacy Wound management Maintenance of tissue viability Terminal Illness Mental Health Learning Difficulties Musculoskeletal trauma and injury To adopt a problem solving approach, engaging patients and carers in their treatment plan, negotiating on agreed outcomes, gaining consent and educating users on self-care Please refer to job description, person specification and trust values, for outline of skills, knowledge and experience required.
