The States of Guernsey are looking for a Unit Manager to join the team in Outpatients and Day Assessment.
The Outpatient Department provides treatment and intervention in Orthopaedic, Dermatology and Nurse Led Phototherapy and both departments work closely with the Medical Specialist group, Physiotherapy and Occupational Health Departments and the GP service. The Day Assessment Unit at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital is a day service, providing care for patients who are attending outpatient clinics, visiting consultant clinics, and the Intravenous Therapy service.
We believe in a holistic approach to patient care and work hard to create a relaxed, comfortable, informative and safe environment; ensuring patients and relatives/carers have the knowledge and support needed to return home safely and confidently and to remain as an outpatient. The post-holder will lead on clinical and management activities within both departments. Ensuring sufficient resources are available on a daily basis to provide safe and effective delivery of care for all patients.
