We aim to serve and support those in the local and wider community irrespective of their background. You will help us to develop and deliver a wide range of programme from our Nocq Road Community Centre, which includes a café and charity shop. This role is a genuine opportunity to put something back into your community.As the Community Centre Manager, you will:Be accountable for people related activitiesManage an effective volunteer programmeOversee and run all aspects of the community centre including the Charity Shop, Café. Assess community needs; design and deliver appropriate programmesEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders, and build strong links with the communityBe responsible for ensuring that the building is suitably managed, maintained and equippedEnsure that all visitors to the centre are welcomed, supported, and treated with respectAs a Christian Church and charity, you will need a willingness to work within our ethos, and advocate our values.Applications will only be accepted from Guernsey residents who already have a valid Permit or Certificate which allows you to work.
