Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support individuals with mobility issues and ensure their safety at all times.
Administer prescribed medications and manage healthcare routines in accordance with care plans.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
Maintain accurate records of clients' health status, activities, and any incidents that may arise.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs and updates.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance care skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Proven experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as NVQ Level 2 or above.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others in need.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
