Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of meals and food items according to recipes and quality standards.
Assist in menu planning and the development of new recipes based on seasonal ingredients.
Ensure all dishes are presented in an appealing manner according to established guidelines.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas in compliance with health safety standards.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations.
Adhere to food safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in food presentation and safety standards.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate efficiently with other kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
