Join us as an Area Workplace Manager in Property Services
- We’re looking for a commercially aware Area Workplace Manager to oversee the operational delivery of the workplace and the facilities management service, driving an exceptional colleague experience
- You’ll act as a trusted partner to colleagues, customers and supply partners to ensure the most effective use of the bank’s key properties by optimising capacity, managing risk and ensuring compliance
- In managing senior business relationships, you’ll be well placed to expand your network and progress your career with us
- This is an office first job, so most of your time will be spent on site at our London Strand and Bishopsgate offices
What you'll do
In this key role, you’ll own all workplace services day-to-day and change activity provided to the portfolio across the city of London area. We’ll look to you to drive the strategic direction and commercial management of the function as a partner to our stakeholders for our offices. In addition, you’ll make sure that the management framework is consistently applied with positive and proactive stakeholder engagement and communication in support of best practice.
You’ll also be:
- Implementing feasibility, planning and the delivery of capital investment programmes in the portfolio
- Managing senior business relationships while maintaining the voice of the customer with engagement and communications framework
- Ensuring the continuity of key property related services to your network
- Providing a transparency of cost, service, risk management of the portfolio in-line with agreed targets and performance
- Working with supply chain partners, to ensure timely accurate reporting, MI and business intelligence
The skills you'll need
You’ll need to have exceptional experience of managing suppliers and service delivery performance across a property portfolio. You’ll also have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A professional qualification such as IWFM will be an advantage.
Along with this, you’ll need:
- Business and customer relationship management experience
- Effective budget management and commercial awareness
- A history of being able to provide an exceptional colleague and customer workplace experience
- Significant experience managing a highly dynamic corporate head office and the businesses within it
- A history of working with multiple suppliers to lead and direct the full range of facilities services
