The role:
Our client is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join the Flood Risk Management team. You’ll support planning application assessments, flood risk and drainage enquiries, and the development of sustainable drainage solutions.



Key Responsibilities:

Assess planning applications on flood risk and drainage
Support GIS data screening and asset register updates
Assist in stakeholder engagement and delivery of funded projects
Help maintain planning policies and provide technical advice



What the client is looking for:

ONC/OND in Civil Engineering (or working towards it) OR relevant experience in highways, planning, or environmental sectors
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience or knowledge of flood risk management and planning processes preferred
