The role:
Our client is seeking a Transport Officer to join the Passenger Fleet Team in Leicestershire. You’ll support the planning, delivery, and compliance of passenger transport services, working with contractors, councils, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and procure transport services
Ensure vehicle licensing and insurance compliance
Maintain accurate records and databases
Support training and contract monitoring
Assist with service reviews and data collection
What the client is looking for:
Knowledge of relevant transport legislation
Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Enhanced DBS required
