The role:
You’ll support the planning, procurement, and management of passenger transport services across Leicestershire, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high standards in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and review transport services using manual and ICT systems
Liaise with contractors and internal teams on compliance and operations
Coordinate contract inspections and assist with training and guidance
Maintain accurate transport records and databases
Support annual school transport review and data collection
What the client is looking for:
Background in transport planning (essential)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Able to manage workload independently and as part of a team
Computer literate and comfortable working under pressure
Calm and professional when dealing with the public and stakeholders
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required
