What skills and experience we're looking for
This 1:1 Teaching Assistant post will provide support to a Y5 pupil for 25 hours a week. The hours will be from 9am till 3pm each day.
We are looking for someone with:
• Experience and understanding of the needs of children with autism.
• An empathetic nature, positive outlook, along with the ability to set clear and firm boundaries.
• Understanding and patience.
• The ability to be flexible and ‘think on your feet.’
• Good written and communication skills.
• NVQ 3 or above.
