If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team as Teacher of Music atThe Gainsborough Academy— a school where every note counts and every pupil’s potential is nurtured.You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging music lessons across a range of year groups, tailored to the needs and talents of our pupils. From theory to performance, you'll inspire a lifelong love of music, setting and assessing meaningful work that supports progress and sparks enthusiasm in every class.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering well-structured and creative music lessons that meet a variety of educational needs
• Assessing, recording and reporting on pupils' progress and attainment
• Setting short-term, achievable learning goals in partnership with pupils and parents
• Supporting pupils’ personal development and providing guidance on both academic and social matters
• Communicating regularly with parents and contributing to reports and references
• Actively participating in staff meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing CPD opportunities

What the school offers its staff

We’re Wickersley Partnership Trust (WPT) - a multi-academy trust with eight primaryschools, five secondary schools, one sixth form and one Central Team under our umbrella.
